Mr. Sanders serves as Managing Director of Realstone Capital.

Mr. Sanders holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations. He also is a licensed Real Estate Broker in three states (inactive status). Mr. Sanders holds a BSBA in Real Estate Finance from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. He currently sits on the Dean’s Alumni Advisory Council there.

For over 10 years, Mr. Sanders has advised in the acquisition, disposition, capitalization, and/or operation of over $200 million in apartment communities. This includes approximately 4,000 apartment units and over 50 employees in Arkansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. 

Prior to Realstone Capital, Mr. Sanders served as the President and CEO of Trinco Real Estate, a multifamily management and capital advisory platform focused on secondary and tertiary apartment markets in the Mid-South United States, which he helped found in 2009. Prior to his own venture, Mr. Sanders was a Broker with Colliers International, the largest commercial real estate firm in Arkansas, where he worked with multiple investment property types.

Mr. Sanders has significant experience in identifying value gaps in multifamily acquisition opportunities. He has successfully overseen both the operational and physical repositioning of thousands of multifamily units in distressed situations. His noteworthy multifamily real estate experience extends to optimizing the value of new lease-ups, student housing, and stabilized apartment communities.

He has authored numerous industry articles (such as this one) and is a respected investment expert in the acquisition, financing, and operation of apartments located in secondary and tertiary markets of the United States. In April of 2012, Multifamily Executive featured him in this article entitled “One to Watch” in recognition of his efforts. In 2008, he was identified by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in its “40 Under 40” class. When Mr. Sanders was a full-time undergraduate college student in Fayetteville, Arkansas, he brokered the sale of over $7 million of residential investment properties during a 12-month period.
